A Whole New World

While my family and I lived in Singapore we got a chance to visit some pretty exotic tropical destinations. Bali was our favorite but we also really enjoyed Tioman, Malaysia. Though our children were young we outfitted them all with snorkeling gear and thoroughly enjoyed exploring the reefs. Our youngest at the time was only two. He rode on my back. Ever since then we’ve dreamed of taking it a step further and learning to scuba. This summer we’re finally going to make it happen.
Jee's Bones Book Cover

Getting a book published has been a long process. Sometimes I wondered if it would ever happen. Getting the word from Leatherwood Press that they wanted to publish my works was a great day along the way, but today was even better. Today I got to see the cover for Jee’s Bones! Somehow seeing the cover finally made it real for me.
BTW, I love the cover!
Final Edits are Done

Thanks to the perserverance of Linda, my patient and kind editor at Leatherwood Press the final edits of both Jee’s Bones and Journey of the Heart are now complete! I’m excited about the end result. Without a doubt, both manuscripts are now much better than they were when the process started. Though I’m pleased with the results, I have to note that the process at times was painful. A Two-edged Sword and the TSA

In Hebrews 4:12 it says that “the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword.” For at least a moment this week it appeared that the US Government agreed that the word of God could be a dangerous weapon.
